In 2008 it launched Chandrayaan-1, India’s first Moon mission, and in 2013 Mangalyaan, which made India the first country to reach Mars orbit on its first attempt. In February 2017 it put 104 satellites into orbit on one flight, a record at the time. One of eighteen rockets illustrated for the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center at the California Science Center.
