Titan II GLV, the Titan II missile adapted to launch NASA’s Gemini missions, ten of them crewed, in 1965 and 1966.
Titan II was a US intercontinental missile, and NASA adapted it to launch Gemini, the two-person missions that practised everything Apollo would need: spacewalks, rendezvous, docking, and two weeks in orbit. It launched all twelve Gemini flights, ten of them crewed, between 1964 and 1966. Part of a set of eighteen rocket illustrations commissioned for the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center at the California Science Center.
