Description

Description

The 500 series is the Atlas V with a five-metre nose fairing and up to five solid boosters, for the heaviest loads the rocket carries. It launched New Horizons toward Pluto in 2006, Juno to Jupiter in 2011, and both of NASA’s car-sized Mars rovers: Curiosity in 2011 and Perseverance in 2020.

New Horizons left Earth faster than any spacecraft before it, passing the Moon’s orbit in about nine hours.

Available in 5″ x 7″, 8″ x 10″, 8″ x 12″, 11″ x 17″, 12″ x 16″, 12″ x 18″, 16″ x 20″, or 18″ x 24″, unframed and rolled in a sturdy tube, or framed in a black wooden frame, ready to hang.
