Europa Rocket Poster

Description

Europa was the project of ELDO, an early group of European countries: Britain supplied the first stage, built from its Blue Streak missile, France the second, Germany the third, and Italy the test satellites. The complete rocket never put a satellite into orbit.

What Europe learned from it led to a single space agency, ESA, and to Ariane.
